Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Nikkal is very short and scrawny, coming only to 5' even. She's very skinny and not terribly developed, though her figure is vaguely pear-shaped.

2. How old is she? Seven sweeps, roughly equal to 15 human years.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She carries herself relatively well; obviously she's not 100% perfect all the time, but she doesn't slouch much, if at all.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? She's in fairly decent shape! She plays DDR on a near-daily basis, so her legs are quite strong, but that's the only exercise she gets. So she's not in tip-top shape, but she can hold her own. She has very little muscle in her arms, however.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Kinda depends. If she's wearing shoes, then she gets ridiculously clumsy, but other than that, I'm not sure how to describe her movement... she's not graceful by any stretch of the imagination, but she's not tense either? She makes very deliberate movements most of the time, and seems almost bouncy, sort of.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? I don't imagine that she's particularly attractive by troll standards. She's got a round face and very small, beady eyes, with large buck teeth. She... looks pretty ridiculous tbh but most of the time it doesn't bother her, she actually likes looking as silly as she does unless her eyes are visible.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? She has the standard issue grey troll skin, but she also has freckles all over her body! They're most prominent on her face, shoulders, and knees, and are pretty much a desaturated version of her blood color. So yes. Blue freckles!

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Straight-up black like a normal troll, and she usually keeps it in pigtails. When left down, it reaches a little bit past her shoulders. Her bangs have a part on the left and kind of sweep across her forehead.

9. What color are her eyes? Regular trolly yellow with black irises, though they'll fill in with blue as she grows older.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Very large, pointy buck teeth. Small, beady eyes that she always has covered, most commonly with a pair of round, thick glasses. Also, her horns! They're crescent-shaped and not very big.

11. What are her chief tension centers? Probably in her hips and upper legs.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Like most other trolls, she thinks fashion is pretty dumb! ...most of the time. She is always sporting bare feet, and more often than not, wears very long sleeves - longer than her arms, usually. They tend to come in a variety of colors, though the most commonly-worn ones are purple- and teal-striped. Generally she's seen wearing tank tops and shorts as well.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They fit well, yes. Not too loose and not too tight. She feels very comfortable in whatever she wears, as long as she has a) her glasses and b) bare feet.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? ...nnnnnnnnot applicable?? Unless she happens to go God Tier lmfao.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Undies with ruffles and cute little patterns on them! Like polka dots or scribbly stars or the days of the week, lmfao.



Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Pretty high-pitched, probably.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Most of the time she tends to talk pretty fast, which, coupled with her speech impediment, can sometimes make it difficult to understand what she's saying. She talks pretty easily most of the time, generally speaking what's on her mind and not taking much consideration into her words.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Her front teeth give her quite the overbite, and it makes it difficult for her to speak clearly. She speaks with rhotacism, or pretty much Elmer Fudd Syndrome, and has difficulty pronouncing R's, L's, and th- sounds. As far as conscious quirks go, she refers to everything in the third person.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Tr...ollish...??? ENGLISH W/E.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? If she's in Rage Mode, or if she's particularly depressed, she'll drop the third-person quirk.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She's pretty good at speaking impromptu, since she's... admittedly not very deep and doesn't think about what she says too much unless it's something she's really serious about.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? She's very inarticulate 99% of the time, preferring to use more simple language and words like "thingies" and "doohickeys" or what have you. She'll try and be more direct with her words if someone needs clarification, though.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She is legitimately quite unintelligent thanks to her lusus' upbringing - she didn't learn about the finer points of troll society until later on in her life, wherein she discovered all of that information via the internet. In terms of book smarts, the only subject she is very intelligent about is astronomy, and she is completely inept at her street smarts, to the point where she would probably get culled if she went out into society as she currently is.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She's very good at thinking on her feet, but only if she has some kind of clue about what to do next. She doens't really take any time aside to think about the ramifications of her actions unless she has an idea of what might happen going into it.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? She is incredibly intuitive and idealistic, always going by what she feels is the right thing to do and what will have a better result. She'll listen to her heart over her head any day of the week unless it's an issue she's particularly worried about, in which case she'll dwell on it longer than necessary.

4. What kind of education has the character had? Very poor. Her lusus is ridiculously timid and withdrawn, not to mention overprotective, so Nikkal never learned about the finer points of her society while growing up. So when she discovered them on her own later, they didn't sink in as well as they should've. Her lusus failed to teach her these things largely to keep her safe, but in all honesty it probably put her in even more danger than she could've been in normally.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Her main area of expertise is astronomy. She grew up with an obscenely clear view of the sky, and wondering what lies beyond the stars is probably her favorite thing to think about. There have been times where she'd spend hours on end reading about the cosmos and the universe, and even as much as she already knows, she just can't get enough of it. So she's always trying to find something new about the sky to learn. She can answer just about any question about the trolls' universe that's thrown at her.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Most definitely an extrovert. She's super outgoing and will strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Most of the time, she's super laid-back and carefree, but when she swings into an emotion, she really swings into it. Basically, she feels incredibly extreme emotions. She doesn't get happy, she gets ecstatic; she doesn't get sad, she gets depressed; etc. Most of the time she'll be rather cheerful and playful, though at times she can be very hyperactive and energetic.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? She loves meeting new people! She's very enthusiastic about making new friends (and if you're civil with her, she'll immediately dub you BFF). New situations... that kinda depends. She was rather sheltered for the vast majority of her life, so she's definitely open to new situations, but if she has any reason to believe that it won't be any fun, then she'll be more hesitant to take part in it.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? She's probably more likely to do both. Possibly leaning more toward reacting than acting.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Flight. Totally. If a situation even starts to go downhill, she'll become incredibly pessimistic about it and turn tail and run to the best of her ability... when applicable. If there's absolutely no way out of the situation (i.e. with the meteors), then she'll do the best she can at fighting it off, but she will definitely take the easier way out if she can get away with it.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Her sense of humor is... special. It's not very difficult to make her laugh at all, and she will laugh even at the worst jokes. Probably the only kind of humor she isn't partial to would be gallows, because she dislikes the thought of dying and I don't imagine she'd take it very well if she even understands that it's being joked about.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? I don't suppose it counts as a diagnosable disorder, or... even a disorder at all, but. Thanks to her sheltered childhood and being smothered by her lusus, she's quite mentally stunted. She's got the mentality of a troll of only four or five sweeps.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Probably the only one to really have an impact was when she found her ancestor's statue. That's what started her interest in the pink moon, and more importantly, left her desiring companionship instead of the solitude she'd grown up with.

14. What does she fear? She's actually pretty fearless! The only thing that really scares her is the prospect of death, whether it's her own or that of her friends.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Her biggest dream is to find a way to travel to Alternia's pink moon. A more realistic one is just to stay with her friends and hang out and be safe and happy.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? She doesn't want anyone to see her eyes. She's incredibly insecure about them, which is why she always keeps them covered.



Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Despite being sheltered and smothered by her lusus, Nikkal adores her. I mean come on, she's a giant fluffy four-eared rabbit! Big enough to ride around on, which Nik's done plenty of aahjgdkjhsa. So yeah! She totally loves her lusus and is super upset that she's dead. ;3;

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? N...o............ trolls don't have blood relatives!! But she does learn about the human concept of ~family~ so later on, she'll view a number of people as her siblings, most notably Bharal, Donovan, and probably Chrysi. c:

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? NOT APPLICABLE BECAUSE TROLL...

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? The rest of her team, eventually! Bharal is the BESTEST BIG BRO IN THE WORLD, Mandya is the cool chick she shares her snacks and watches bad TV with, Eighis is the smart guy she constantly annoys with her cuteness, Zurahe is the best person to rock out to SICK BEATS with, and Komesh... well, more on him later. 0u0

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? If you asked Nikkal, she would tell you that everyone is her best friend and she legit believes this, even if they've expressed distate toward her. Realistically though... both of her actual "best friend" possibilities are dead (Arinna and Zakaya), so at this point probably the closest one is Mandya.

6. Does she have other close friends? Not particularly close, but there are others she likes a lot! Eric who is the BEST PATRON KID EVER, Kaprao who she wants to squish and hug like A LOT, she thinks Hirune is super cool astronomer buddy, and... well, she has a multitude of palecrushes.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She... thinks she makes friends easily. She's super outgoing so she's willing to talk to everyone, but not everybody reciprocates. That said, she doesn't have a lot of trouble getting along with them, it's just in most cases (such as the humans), they think she's strange and childish. But she wants to be friends anyway. SO.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Friends, I guess?

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? lol half of these don't even apply to trolls, but whatev. This is actually kind of in the air right now, surprisingly enough??

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? ...stares at troll relationships in general??? UM ANYWAY no she only has one quadrant that might be filled at this point in time ahsgajdgj.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Man I have no freaking idea in regards to palecrushes, in terms of first OR latest. But flushcrushes, this I can answer! Komesh applies to both, though she is still pretty dang pale for him too. They've thrown a lot of hearts at each other but I'm not 100% sure if it's anything ~official~ yet.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? HAHAHAHA SHE HAS NO IDEA re: matesprits since she kind of snagged this one accidentally. But I guess I could answer for moirail; she wants someone she can hug a lot and talk through their ~problems~ with. But honestly it's really her who needs someone to keep her grounded dsjhkfgdkjs.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? Not applicable because troll???

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? N...ot really? I guess the closest thing to a ~romantic rival~ would maybe be Sparks since Komesh is vacillating for him, but it's probably more active on his end than hers. Other than that, she doesn't really dislike anyone enough to consider them a rival or enemy.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? As a troll, she is pansexual! She does seem to favor males more, so I'd put her at probably a 2 on the Kinsey scale.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Oh god my brain breaks to even think about this. UM. She..................... well, when she matures and manages to shake the wriggler mindset, she... I guess would feel like any other troll would on the matter... oh god I don't want to touch this with a twenty foot pole WEH.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? NOPE NOT TOUCHING THIS EITHER j/k she likes cuddling a lot. A lot lot.



Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? She has no official zodiac sign, but doing a little bit of research, I'd probably peg her as a Cancer (HAHA KARKAT) since it's ruled by the moon, and a lot of the traits seem to fit her! And for the Chinese zodiac, I obviously want to say she's a Rabbit, but I don't think it's quite as fitting.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? N...either...?? I guess if anything she'd be spiritual, she like legit believes that the stars talk to her and she'll often look to them for answers, as crazy as it sounds. It's pretty important to her though, it helps her calm down a lot if she's particularly stressed.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Her basic philosophy is "be excellent to each other and party on, dudes". She really feels like as long as she's nice to people then that's good enough for her. It's something she's always followed, and even when she found that her species was supposed to be violent, she was just like "huh" and disregarded it. The only thing that could probably compromise it is if a friend was hurt.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? She's pretty tolerant, and very curious! Not that she's encountered many that differ from hers in the first places, but she always likes to learn more about other trolls since she hasn't met very many of them.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? SHE HAS NO PREJUDICES WAT U TALKIN ABOUT. Like seriously, she wasn't even aware that the hemospectrum was a thing until she googled it or something. She didn't know anything about the caste system, and had no reason to dislike lowbloods or anything.



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? I.......... guess she's well off enough??? What is even Alternian economics, man. She gets by and that's good enough.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? She's a blueblood, so I would guess she's techically barely on the edge of nobility (her color is between Terezi and Vriska)? But oh man her personality would likely get her culled so hard fhdsjklf.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? She lives in her hive which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Troll boonies, if you will. It's a decent little hive, it has three floors - bottom being a space for her giant lusus, top being her own respiteblock, and in-between has the rest of the necessities. She's taken a lot of care in making it her own, I'm p. sure it'd give seizures to everyone who enters it tho gfjhgljkfd. She loves it though, especially because its location gives her an unobstructed view of the sky.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Sweets. Stuff to make sweets. Yes. All of this.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? She doesn't... really... do anything............ okay if she were a human I could totally see her making cute little candy and cake-shaped charms on etsy or something fjhghjfd BUT UHHHH other than that I got nothing. I guess when she gets older she'll go into astronomancy.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Her absolute favorite hobby is stargazing!! She also loves baking and the vidya, but most of her free time is spent with her astronomoscope.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? She has a pretty terrible diet tbh. She eats a LOT of sweets and sugary stuff like candy, cake, cookies, and pretty much anything that could be considered a dessert ssagsfjhdk. She does eat fruit on a fairly frequent basis, which she goes hunting for with her lusus, but yeah that's pretty much it. She does get a lot of exercise which compensates for it, but since she avoids meat and vegetables and stuff she's definitely lacking in a lot of nutrients.
